Dear Co-laborers,                                                                                      February 10, 2010

The past two months have flown by.  In December, Shalom Ind. Baptist Church held five different Christmas programs.  Three were for our Sunday School children.  Since Shalom has ten Sunday Schools, we combined several of them for two of the programs.  I was asked to speak to the children at the program held on December 23, 2009, where there were over 200 in attendance.  Praise the Lord, afterwards there were two young ladies who made professions of faith.  That evening Pastor Tambunan baptized seven of our Sunday School children and one adult.  What a testimony they were to all who attended.  In addition to the Christmas programs in December, our Bible college graduated eight students on the 15th.  Several of them are now serving in the Jakarta area, a young lady has gone to Timor, a young man to Bali , and another to Papua.

During the month of December, I had the privilege of hosting a senior at Arlington Baptist College who is a missions major.  Patty Bouillon had the opportunity to experience our Christmas programs and to help in the preparation of Vacation Bible School materials.  She was a blessing, and we pray if it is God’s will that He will burden her heart for the millions of Indonesians that are without Christ.

On January 9, one of the girls who helps me prepare Sunday School and Vacation Bible School materials married Agus, an alumnus from our Bible college.  They have a mission work in north Jakarta .  Our national fellowship meeting of Indonesian pastors, their wives, missionaries, and church workers was held January 19-21, 2010 in Central Java .  What a blessing it was to see so many faithful pastors and church workers who were former Bible college students.

A new semester at our Bible college started on February 1, 2010.   It is exciting to be able to minister to the 44 students taking my Sunday School Administration and Human Growth and Development classes.

Thank you so much for your faithful prayers and support which continue to make the ministry here possible.  May God richly bless each one of you.
