Dear Co-laborers, It is always somewhat of a challenge when we try to summarize all that has happened in the past two months when we start our bi-monthly Prayer Letter, but here goes… May was a challenging month because of the results of the Mother-Daughter Tea hosted by Jo Ann and the ladies of our church on Saturday May 13th. Ladies from two other area churches were present to share in the blessings. Belen, a lady we have known from her youth who is now married to a Missionary pastor, did a splendid job in challenging our ladies and daughters to leave behind some worth while "Footprints" by the life they live today. The number of mothers and daughters present were 23. I had invited Belen’s husband Kent to preach both services on the Lord’s Day since they would be staying over until Monday to return to their home in Salamanca, Spain. He did a great job in preaching two good messages to our people. Though we did not see anyone saved, we did see several come forward for rededication . PRAYER LIST

Summer camps begin the last week in June and end up the last week in August. We will have kids going to Children’s Camp the last week in June. Juniors going to their Camp the 3rd. to the 8th. of July. Timothy (our son) and Bro. Robertson will co-direct the Youth II Camp for unmarried Youth from ages 20 to 35, July 31st. to August 5th. We also hope to have some families from the church going to the Family Camp August 21st. to 25th. PRAY MUCH FOR THESE CAMPS THIS YEAR ESPECIALLY. IMPACT 2000 When we began the new year we chose as our theme for the year, "Impact 2000" with the idea of our church, just recently organized, having an IMPACT on the city of Murcia and on Spain as a whole as far as the GOSPEL OF CHRIST is concerned. Well, in the midst of other things, the Radio Ministry has had an IMPACT on the city of Murcia, since Timothy and the other missionary here have been invited to participate in a live debate each Saturday morning for three weeks in a row to discuss the pros and cons of what has been termed as "destructive cult groups" listed with the Government of Spain. However Baptists were not listed among those groups. With love,
