Watkins, Clayton & Jodi - COSTA RICA


Clayton and Jodi Watkins were approved as WBF missionaries to Costa Rica in 2015. Clayton is currently pursuing his Master of Arts Degree in Biblical and Theological Studies at Arlington Baptist College.  He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree of Science from Texas A&M University-Commerce in 2013. Jodi is working toward her Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Counseling at ABC. Both attended Arlington Baptist College, where they were also employed as Dorm Parents and Clayton was the assistant maintenance director.

Clayton was saved at the age of 9 at Texoma Baptist Youth Camp and was raised in a Christian home. He attended Bible Baptist Church in Mt Pleasant TX from birth to the age of 13, when he and his family became members of Ramseur Baptist in Paris, TX. While at Ramseur, he has served as AWANA Commander, Sunday school teacher, Children’s Church teacher, and as Youth Pastor. 

Jodi was saved at the age of 5 at home. She was raised in a Christian home and attended services at East Paris Baptist Church in Paris, TX and moved her membership to Ramseur Baptist Church once married to Clayton. She has been involved in children and youth ministries in the capacities of Sunday School teacher and Youth Pastor’s wife. She is a 3rd generation missionary, with her Grandparents serving in Honduras for 20 years, and her Aunts and Uncles serving in Argentina and Bolivia. She received her call to missions at the age of 13 and is excited to be following this calling to Costa Rica!

They have 2 children, Conner and Eva. Ramseur Baptist Church in Paris, Texas is their sending church.
